DescriptionOur company is responsible for supplying transit and rail equipment for buses, trains, automobiles, and industrial equipment. 1.Inspector for all quality assurance activities during production including auditing/monitoring suppliers, production processes, receiving inspection, FAI and final inspection. 2.Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. 3.Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor. 4.Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. 5.Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. 6.Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs. 7.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. 8.Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. 9.Inventory Audit Support 10.Audit Shipping Labels and Packing List 11.NCR Development/Processing/Completion 12.PSI (pre shipment inspection) planning, reporting, readiness, performance 13.Communicate with Team during regular meetings. 14.Supplier Quality Development 15.Reports to Quality Assurance Manager/ Service Manager
Requirements1. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. 2. Quality management System development including procedure writing. 3. Inspecting receiving parts and final products using common measuring tool. 4. Good communication skills with customers. 5. Field service knowledge and experiences. 6. Microsoft Office Suite …Office,Excel,Word,Powerpoint,Access 7. Language Japanese (Speak,Read,Write) a plus 8. Some Travel required
