DescriptionInternational forwarder is looking for Accounting and Administrative Agent who wants to move up. Responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the department. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, handles accounts payable duties, and assists accounting personnel. Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records. Skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management, computer, and communication skills. Understand and abide by all accounting procedure and principles and have a commitment behaving ethically in the workplace. • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. • Compile and sort invoices and checks. • Match invoices to work orders. • Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records. • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements. • Prepare driver statement and send it to each driver. • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database. • Match bills to work orders and process for payment. • Issue checks for accounts payable, place checks in envelopes and mail out. • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner. • Support operation team for invoices and bills. • Ensure customers accept payments or refunds. • Responding appropriately to vendor, client, and internal requests. • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas. • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws. • Constantly update job knowledge.
Requirements•Ideally between six to twelve months of previous experience in a similar position. Start as Temp and move to Perm after a few months.
