DescriptionThis position is to support sales activities and accounting activities by assuring that customer orders are processed, delivered and billed in a timely fashion under supervision of Manager – Customer Service, Import/Export. Import Assistant Duty  File and maintain ISF data accurately and timely  Receive import documents from vendors and check for accuracy  Monitor status of import shipments  Record keeping of customs entry data and documents  Create various reports upon request Sales Assistant Duty  Process customer orders  Update order status in the system  Keep customers and sales person(s) informed with status of orders  Provide customers with delivery notifications with proper documents  Generate sales invoices in a timely fashion  Create various reports upon request  Provide assistance on special projects upon request  Filing of sales order documents  Record keeping of inventory
Requirements5-10 years' Ocean Import logistics exoerience. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Accurate data entry and filing skills Fluency in English/Japanese communication Warehousing/Distribution (not required, but a plus) (work experience in trading companies and/or freight forwarders preferred)
