DescriptionParts company in West Suburb of Chicago is looking for Accounting and Administrative Specialist. Financial Management & General Administration. Responsible for the general administrative function of the company including accounting (payroll, preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations). Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the management team in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting and general administrative functions.
RequirementsHybrid. 1. Bachelor's degree or 10 years of office administration experience. 2. Previous experience of general accounting (manufacturing setting preferred). 3. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 4. Knowledge of finance principles and reporting. 5. General knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation. 6. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Enterprise Solution. 7. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook). 8. Familiarity with internet browser software to conduct searches and utilizing cloud-based productivity and project management applications. 9. Business-level proficiency in written and oral Japanese preferred. (Not necessary)
